BIG PICTURE:

Changing Lives Productions is looking for a creative and data obsessed analyst to support the growth of our main scripted channel. This role is essential to scaling our audience reach, optimizing new content strategies, and maximizing revenue opportunities in the evolving digital landscape.

As the Audience Development/Data Analyst, you will counsel and support creative, marketing, and distribution teams to develop and execute strategies that enhance engagement, increase viewership, and expand our digital creative. You will play a pivotal role in understanding audience behavior, leveraging data insights, and adapting to platform behaviors to ensure our content resonates with target audiences.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME:

Content Strategy & Optimization:

• Lead the development and execution of audience growth strategies for digital scripted content on YouTube, Facebook, and other relevant platforms.
• Optimize content, including video thumbnails, titles, and descriptions, to improve discoverability and engagement.
• Utilize YouTube and Facebook analytics to reoptimize existing content libraries for better performance.

Data Analytics & Insights:

• Gather and analyze data to identify trends, inform content decisions, and uncover growth opportunities.
• Monitor key metrics such as viewership, engagement rates, subscriber growth, and revenue, providing actionable insights to cross-functional teams.
• Conduct testing and other experiments to refine content strategies and maximize impact.

Trend Monitoring & Innovation:

• Stay current with emerging social and offline media trends, platform updates, and best practices to keep our content strategies ahead of the curve.
• Monitor competitors, trends and industry developments to identify new opportunities for audience expansion.
• Innovate by experimenting with new content formats, distribution methods, and engagement tactics.

WHAT YOU HAVE:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in digital content optimization, audience growth, and revenue enhancement across multiple platforms.
• Proven ability to significantly boost platform performance in terms of revenue, views, subscribers, and engagement.
• In-depth knowledge of platform algorithms, SEO, and content optimization strategies, with a focus on YouTube and Facebook.
• Proficient with major social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, YouTube Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, Tubular, Socialblade).
• Experienced in conducting experiments and tests to optimize creative, marketing, and distribution tactics.
• Exceptional ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to diverse audiences, including C-suite executives.
• Strong interpersonal skills, capable of leading and inspiring cross-functional

The role will report directly to the Audience Development, Data & Analytics Lead

WHERE IT ALL GOES DOWN:
This role may be worked remotely but preference to be given to candidates who can work from our offices in Burbank
