Job Title: Entry-Level Event Assistant

Job Overview: As an Entry-Level Event Assistant, you will support the event planning team in organizing and executing various events. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to learn the ropes of event planning, has strong organizational skills, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You will assist with a variety of tasks, from logistical support to on-site coordination, ensuring events run smoothly and successfully.

Key Responsibilities:

• Event Preparation: Assist in the planning and coordination of events, including researching venues, vendors, and other event-related resources.
• Client Communication: Support the event planners in maintaining clear and timely communication with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Administrative Tasks: Handle day-to-day administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, preparing event materials, and maintaining event databases.
• Vendor Liaison: Communicate with vendors to confirm bookings, arrangements, and deliveries.
• Budget Tracking: Assist in tracking event budgets, processing invoices, and ensuring costs remain within the allocated budget.
• Post-Event Follow-Up: Help gather feedback, prepare event reports, and assist with follow-up tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management software is an advantage.
