Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as an Entry Level Events Assistant. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of events, from conferences and trade shows to company retreats and community gatherings. You will gain hands-on experience in event planning and execution, and have the chance to contribute to the success of our events.

$48500 - $60500 yearly
Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of events, ensuring that all details are coordinated effectively
• Help to research and select appropriate event venues based on client requirements and budget
• Coordinate with vendors, including caterers, audio-visual technicians, and decorators, to ensure their services are delivered efficiently
• Support registration and ticketing processes, including managing online registration platforms and handling attendee inquiries
• Assist with the creation and distribution of event materials, such as invitations, programs, and signage
• Provide on-site support during events, including set up, registration, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise
• Conduct post-event evaluations and compile feedback from attendees and staff

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, or a related field
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as required
• Knowledge of event management software is a plus
