Role Summary:
Join our client, a leading organization in the healthcare industry, as an Associate Informaticist on the Tools and Solutions team within the Analytics Organization Hub. In this key role, you will help develop automated insights that enhance operational efficiencies and foster innovation. We are seeking a candidate with a strong foundation in SAS, SQL, and Tableau, and a focus on healthcare data. Key Responsibilities:
Extract and compute metrics from various data sources, utilizing SAS to prepare data for Tableau dashboards related to harm events, patient safety, adverse events, and more.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive 360-degree view of data to support multiple projects.
Engage directly with business users to gather requirements and independently plan, design, and build solutions.
Take ownership of projects from inception to completion, including requirements gathering, documentation, development, deployment, and training analysts on new tools.
Contribute to the enhancement of data delivery and presentation, driving operational efficiencies.
Required Qualifications:
Over 2 years of experience in Base and Advanced SAS, ideally with SAS certifications and extensive macro utilization.
Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining data extraction and transformation jobs, analytical reporting, and automated programming with reusable and SAS macro-driven components.
More than 2 years of experience in SQL, preferably with multiple Database Management Systems and knowledge of indexed and efficient table joins.
At least 1 year of experience in Tableau dashboard development.
Flexibility to alternate between problem research and resolution and building sustainable processes.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience working with healthcare data.
Ability to work directly with business users to understand their needs and plan and design solutions independently.
Experience engaging and supporting projects in both payor and provider verticals.
