Airlogix, a leading commercial HVAC/R installation company serving facilities in the  New York metropolitan area, New Jersey, and beyond , is quickly growing! At AirLogix, versatility is our standout strength. From our installation services to our maintenance contracts, we customize our work based on client’s facility’s unique goals and specificities.

We are looking for experienced Junior HVAC/R Service Technicians that have experience in  Commercial and Industrial facilities  to join our team! You will maintain heating/air-conditioning systems, identify repair and/or replacement needs, provide necessary information on the proper uses of the equipment, and assist other skilled trades as required - to ensure customer needs are met efficiently and accurately.

Hours:  Airlogix operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We have round-the-clock shifts available.

HVAC - Refrigeration Technician Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, diagnose and correct problems in HVACR systems
• Inspect systems and their components (e.g. air conditioning, heating and refrigeration units, etc.) to ensure safety and identify necessary repairs and provide an ongoing program of preventive maintenance
• Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring heating/air- conditioning/refrigeration systems
• Diagnose problems and/or failures in heating/air conditioning/refrigeration systems to identify equipment and, or systems repair and replacement needs
• Comply with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area.

HVAC - Refrigeration Technician Qualifications:   Minimum 5 years experience  in HVAC Refrigeration work  Supermarket and commercial industry HVAC Refrigeration background

• EPA Certification (universal and 608) – and advanced understanding of electricity, wiring, and control circuits (all equipment), to perform maintenance and repairs
• Communicate thoroughly and effectively with dispatch teams and account managers
• Ability to lift 50 lbs  and climb ladders
• Good driving record
• Customer service skills  with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external customers **
• Advanced troubleshooting ability and mechanical skills **
• F60 FDNY Torch Ops
• F01 Fire guard
• G60 Torch Flammable Gases**
• Certificate of Fitness **
• OSHA Certification Salary depends on experience, overtime and multiple benefits programs available. **
