Ideal Air Conditioning and Insulation is currently seeking an HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team!

We are a high-quality Insulation and full-service home energy efficiency and HVAC contractor serving the greater Phoenix, Arizona, metro region. We are a growing company that promotes an atmosphere that encourages the entrepreneurial spirit and seeks people who want to share in our success!

Be a part of our HVAC Service and Maintenance Team! We are looking for someone with residential and/or light commercial experience who is dependable, people oriented, and able to work independently. We pay 100% for your NATE & Mitsubishi Certifications.

Job Title: HVAC Maintenance Technician - Entry Level

Pay Rate: $55,000 - $85,000 per year. Hourly pay + Commission & Spiffs. Uncapped earning potential

Work Hours: 40+ hours per week + available over time

What you will be doing:

• Performing service and maintenance on residential equipment
• Consulting customers on repairs and indoor air quality needs
• Providing excellent customer service
• Once a month, on-call rotation, dispatched from home
• Growing your career!

Qualifications/Skills:

• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• 1+ years of experience in the HVAC industry
• EPA Universal Certified
• Proficient understanding of refrigerant, heat pumps, troubleshooting, and installation/repair of all residential and light commercial systems
• Exceptional Safety knowledge of tools, testing devices, and surroundings
• Ability to consult on customer complaints and make repair and replacement decisions
• Understand and apply all codes for residential and light commercial
• Ability to handle system start-up and adjustments
• Must pass drug and background screens
