Investment Executive Assistant – Global Hedge Fund
A global hedge fund is looking for an Investment Assistant to support their team of Senior Investment Professionals (3-4), providing administrative, corporate access and project support. This is a great role for an assistant with specific experience supporting investment professionals at a similar firm.
Salary commensurate with experience: $100-145k base + discretionary bonus + fully paid benefits, 401k, 30 days PTO, free lunch, etc.
Seeking:
-4-10 years of professional admin experience, along with specific experience supporting Investment Professionals in Financial Services
- An undergraduate degree with a record of academic success.
-Flexibility & adaptability is very important as there is a lot in flux.
-Humble/low ego, with a strong drive to succeed and learn
-Demonstrated customer service orientation.
-Support experience within a team environment and a team-oriented mentality
-Confidentiality and discretion a must
-Strong ability to develop relationships with internal & external stakeholders
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Responsibilities:
• Manage calendars and coordinate meetings
• Serve as a gatekeeper for investment professionals and handle correspondence
• Communicate with sell side brokers on corporate access offering, research, and models; assemble detailed research packets using internet and research outlets; extract brokerage and company generated reports.
• Assist with tracking meetings and projects in internal systems.
• Organize and schedule high volume of domestic and international travel arrangements and prepare expense reports
• Assist with event planning and ad hoc projects as required.
• Provide back-up coverage for other assistants as required.
