What a Material Science Technology Transfer Chemist Contributes to Cardinal Health Nuclear Pharmacy Services

A Material Science Technology Transfer Chemist supports key NPHS/PET initiatives.   They drive a proactive culture of compliance excellence within Cardinal Health, deliver excellent outcomes through strong advocacy, proactive communication, planning with necessary cross functional teams and more.  

Travel for the position is 75-80%

Responsibilities

• Supports PET manufacturing sites as needed (manufacturing products, quality control, with some exposure to the radiation safety program, cGMP program, EH&S, etc.)
• Supports continuous improvement initiatives with quality and regulatory, customer service, culture, and financials
• Supports the training team as needed
• Other duties at assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field (scientific or technical), or equivalent work experience preferred
• A minimum of 2 years related work experience
• Ability to train and coach others from technical expertise
• A minimum of Technician level II PET manufacturing site experience required.
• Authorized user required
• Media fill qualified strongly preferred
• Ability to travel 75%-80%
• Must have and sustain all core competency skills, maintain all training and qualifications
• May need to be flexible to relocate

• Preferred to have some level of experience working on complex projects of large scope

• Work reviewed for purpose of meeting objectives
• May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues
