Working as part of a diverse team you will communicate results, grow new ideas and identify future technology gaps. Responsibilities Include:

  • Research and evaluate the properties and behavior of materials as affected by the composition, treatment, manufacture, and conditions of use.
  • Develop new uses for known materials, work with composite materials, or you may specialize in new materials development.
  • Conduct experiments concerned with physical characteristics, mechanical properties, and processing of materials to develop and/or understand new applications, ceramics, metal alloys, processes, and methods of fabrication.
