We are a family owned company with locations throughout Idaho & Oregon. We specialize in Front end/Chassis, Diagnostic, Drivability, Electrical/Electrical Diagnostic and a full spectrum of automotive and light truck mechanical repair. We are looking for excellent employees that want to grow with the company. We have an immediate opening for a Automotive Repair Technician .* Applicants should be versed in all forms of automotive repair, ranging from Computer Diagnostic, Brakes, Chassis, Drivability, Electrical, and more. ASE Certifications are paid for by the company. Applicants must be of good character, friendly and dependable. We provide training and certifications and have a very competitive benefits package including available Health Insurance, Paid Time Off with 1 week available upon start of employment, employee pricing on parts/labor/tires as well as approved shop use and 401k with company match* . We have IMMEDIATE job openings at our Boise location for the following positions:

Experienced/Certified * Automotive Repair Technician/Mechanic – Starting Pay is Depending on Experience* - MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS - Pay type varies and is negotiable between Hourly, Salary and Commission or a combination of multiple pay structures.

Other Duties:

• Basic computer and internet literacy
• Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools
• Use computer diagnostic equipment

Responsibilities:

• Repair automobiles, trucks, buses, and other motor vehicles
• Specialize in vehicle transmission systems
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance
• Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
• Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a mechanic
• Knowledge of shop equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Company Description

In 1960, Frank Bruneel and a partner operated a tire business in the Boise area. Both partners wished to own the business solely but neither wanted to sell his share. The matter was resolved by a literal flip of the coin leaving Frank Bruneel to sell his half and prompting him to make a move to Lewiston with his wife Sharon and 5 children (three more children were born in Lewiston).

In Lewiston he managed Evergreen Tire (a well known Goodyear Dealer) for a period of time and, in 1966, saw an opportunity to open his own tire business. Bruneel Tire Service had its humble beginnings at 1832 "G" Street with Frank and two employees, Kermit Yochum and Al Staples, taking care of resident's tire and auto service needs. The Bruneel Tire Service quickly earned a reputation for providing high quality service, solid warranties and value pricing.

In 1988, Frank's oldest son, Craig, joined the business he grew up in after graduating from the University of Utah. In 1994, when Frank Bruneel retired and began a new life of service as an Idaho State legislator, Craig took over as president of Bruneel Tire Service, ultimately taking over ownership as well. In February of 2000 Bruneel Tire and Auto Service joined an affiliation with Northwest Tire Factory Group which consisted of nearly 200 stores in 10 western states.

The “Tire Factory” Co-op joined yet another larger global Co-op in 2016 Which facilitated the name change to our current Bruneel Point S Tire and Auto Service. This larger co-operative group brings over 6000 stores with global purchasing power. The Point S Group provides customers with service and warranty advantages as well as competitive, money-saving tire prices.

In 2020 Craig’s sons Mitch, Riley, and Nate joined the Bruneel Point S Company and have assumed more responsibilities. This Family Business is continuing to transition and progress.

Bruneel Point S has a long-term commitment to Idaho local communities and patrons which is summed up in one slogan: "We go the extra mile."
