Job Title: Crane Operator
Job Description

Pacesetter is seeking an Overhead Crane Operator (wireless remote, single hoist) for their 2nd shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading large steel coils/sheets onto trucks for shipment, completing shipping checklists, preparing rejected material for inspection, lifting heavy objects up to 100 lbs, and maintaining cleanliness in the work area. Additional duties may include assisting at the leveling line to build skids and package material. The shift is from 3pm-11pm with a pay rate of $20/hr.

Hard Skills

• Experience operating a single hoist/wireless remote overhead crane
• 2+ years of experience working in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment
• Experience with Steel Sheets and Coils

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Sauk Village, Illinois.

Work Environment

Steel processing center with large rolls of steel, overhead cranes, slitters, and banding machines. Steel toes are required. Hard Hat and Eye Protection are provided. The facility has 33 employees.
