Job Summary

Therefore, we are seeking a Software Developer with unrivaled integrity, solid work ethic and a passion for service to Assist Information Services team with the analysis and development of software needs for the organization.

This position envisions product development and manages projects through completion; analyzes, designs and develops software enhancements and new modules; manages development project from initial design through testing while providing strategic management direction.

General Responsibilities:

  • Designs, develops and modifies programs, including prototypes
  • Exercises independent judgment and discretion in overall project management by prioritizing, planning and tracking project progress.
  • Researches product development options and provides analysis for product direction.
  • Consults with internal departments to identify customer needs and include into project objectives.
  • Provides support regarding product development to internal departments.
  • Assist in a wide variety of technology related issues. This is necessary in aiding the Information Systems and Information Technology departments to complete daily tasks and projects and reach departmental and company goals.
  • Work in close co-operation with Systems Analysts and other members of the Information Services Team to help analyze existing business processes in need of improvement or replacement
  • Developing and maintaining a working knowledge of business processes supported by software systems/products
  • Participating in all applicable phases of an Agile development cycle
  • Utilize development tools to design, build, test, implement, and debug internal applications
  • Drafting adequate support documentation for development work
  • Execution of assigned special projects and tasks
  • Creates related documentation

Essential Duties

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Candidate must be willing to assist in a wide variety of technology related issues. This is necessary in aiding the Information Systems and Information Technology departments to complete daily tasks and projects and reach departmental and company goals.

Requirements:

Required Education And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or candidate should have five to eight years related experience and/or training.
  • One or two years' experience with system analysis and design projects.
  • At least three years of association software development experience.
  • Strong object oriented design and coding skills

Preferred Education And Experience

Knowledge of the following Software:

  • HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • C#/.NET, ASP.NET
  • WPF/UWP
  • SOAP/REST
  • Relational Database Design, Entity Framework and SQL
  • TFS
  • Familiarity with Unit Testing
  • Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM
