Special Education Teacher Job Description:
Provide specialized instruction and support to a caseload of 6 students with severe and profound disabilities.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive support for students.
This is an onsite position only, with the school year running from August 7 to May 16.
Requirements:
Candidates must hold a valid Severe Profound Special Education certification. This requirement is non-negotiable.
Experience working with students with severe and profound disabilities is preferred.
Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for collaboration with colleagues and parents.
