You'll Make a Difference By:

• Developing and Implementing IEPs: Create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs and learning styles of each student, ensuring compliance with Idaho's Special Education Manual.
• Delivering Engaging Instruction: Utilize differentiated instruction strategies to provide effective and engaging lessons that promote academic growth, social-emotional development, and independence in the least restrictive environment (LRE).
• Collaboration is Key: Work closely with general education teachers, therapists, paraprofessionals, and families to ensure a comprehensive approach to each student's education.
• Empowering Students: Help students reach their full potential by fostering a positive and supportive learning environment that celebrates their strengths and encourages self-advocacy skills.

We're Looking For:

• Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate with an endorsement in Special Education.
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education (Master's preferred).
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs in accordance with Idaho standards.
• Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS).
• Passion for helping students with diverse learning needs succeed in an inclusive environment.
